Maison Hotel aims to revive the bohemian heyday when hippies with a foreign accent lived in old farmhouses, lounged under the sun and danced the night away barefoot at full moon parties in 'Ibiza Bohemia'.
Far from fashion, the collections are inspired by vintage treasure hunts that follow in the footsteps of the eclectic 'Flower Power' movement of the 60s and 70s.
Authentic tie-dyes, real screen prints and delicate embroidery are developed with patience and care by artisans; the minor imperfections reflect the manual nature of the craftsmanship involved.
Since the founders come from a fast-paced business world, they made the decision to go into slow mode. By nurturing their eternal curiosity through travelling, building meaningful connections and spending time near the ocean, they learned about the healing power of creativity.
After an unusual series of events culminating in a bizarre encounter with a French chef cum fashion designer, they decided to create the Maison Hotel label; a Bohemia more modern inspired by what they love and by all things authentic with the aim of creating timeless pieces with a vintage spirit
